The former award-winning chef at Colosseo Ristorante in Fairford is back as one of the new owners of the popular Italian restaurant in the centre of the Cotswold market town.

Mimmo, who is joint owner and joint experienced chef with Salvatore, said how pleased he was to be back in Fairford with a new layout in the restaurant, new décor, new opening times and an exciting new menu.

The new menu caters for all diners: meat lovers; vegetarian; vegan; dairy free and, of course, children.  One of the new starters is Carpaccio di Filetto Manzo (sliced beef fillet served with peas, cream and crispy pancetta) and a new main is Bistecca Surf and Turf Cajun Sauce (grilled sirloin steak, served with pan-fried king prawns in cajun sauce).

The revised opening times will also be popular to local diners. Open seven evenings a week from 5pm-10pm, lunchtimes from 12 noon-2pm and closed only on Monday mornings, Mimmo and Salvatore are already planning ahead for special offers for Valentine’s Day in February; Mothers’ Day in March; and Easter in April.
