Two Cricklade authors share their latest novels at Lechlade Coffee Morning
Two Cricklade authors recently joined forces to promote their latest novels at a Coffee Morning event at St Birinus Court, Lechlade.

Elisibeth ‘Bizzie’ White and Malcolm Brooks were invited to the Wednesday Coffee Morning organised for dementia sufferers, their carers and the elderly by Kelly Foreshew, who also organises Sally Ann’s Music for Memory therapy group on the first Thursday of every month.
The local audience listened attentively to both Bizzie and Malcolm as they explained how they had started writing, mentioned their previous books and gave a tiny teasers about their latest books.
Bizzie has lived in Cricklade for five years and writes under the pen name Lee Pennell. Her latest novel is called ‘Darkleigh’ and is an historical fiction set in 1815 in a small Cotswold valley. ‘Darkleigh’ is preceded by Bizzie’s first novel: ‘Midnight at Lucas Bay’ – an adventure story set in the Gower Peninsula.
Bizzie wrote essays and poetry as a child and completed her first novel of around 20,000 words when she was just 16 years old. She is now working on another historical story based set in the late Victorian times.
Malcolm has lived in Cricklade for over 45 years. His second murder mystery novel, ‘Murder on the London Underground’ was published almost exactly two years after his first successful novel, ‘The Mediterranean Mystery’.
Malcolm is already planning a third book set in India and England and involves a smuggling plot using sacks of curry powder! Malcolm, who has never been to India and doesn’t care for curry, calls this his spicey mystery!
All the above books can be found on Amazon.
