Let's work together

Working on the Fairford Steam Show programme

This is a whole new ball game for me. I’ve never designed or put together an event programme before and now I’ve been asked to create the programme – all 36 pages – for the return of the very popular Fairford Steam Show.

I got myself a friendly graphic designer that I have worked with before – Simon French and a very supportive printer – Printmx.

The Fairford Steam Classic & Retro Show (aka Fairford Steam Show) is back over the weekend of 19th and 20th August after an absence of nearly 10 years.

The organising Steam Team are excited to be showcasing this unique and much-loved event in a new venue at Lady Lamb Farm, Fairford GL7 5LH just off the Fairford to Marston Meysey road with ample parking in the field opposite.

The new venue has enough space for all the many exhibits, stalls, food and drink stands and a large show arena, which is just as well as entries to take part in this popular event have flooded in.

Steam enthusiasts and lovers of community shows can look forward to steam engines, miniature steam, agricultural vehicles, classic cars and all things retro, motorcycles and vintage cycles, industrial trucks, tractors, commercial vehicles, military vehicles, static displays, traders and auto jumble, a craft tent, local charity stalls, local food and drink and fairground rides.

There will be evening entertainment on Saturday night with Dr Busker offering live music starting at 7pm with food and drink available to purchase.
