The Lakes by yoo Supper Club held at the Lakes by yoo Bar & Kitchen is not just about fine wining and dining, it is also about meeting new contacts – either personally or in business.

It’s a great way to find out more about a known business colleague or get introduced to a person you haven’t met before.

And the food and wines ain’t half bad either!

The latest Supper Club at the Lakes by yoo featured Conor Gadd of Trullo, London and Ed Grace, Head Chef at Trullo.

With Italian flair and flavours, guests started with six antipasto tasters, followed by a spinach and pea risotto, then fettuccine with duck, orange and cinnamon. The Platto Principale was Swaledale Lamb Leg – all finished off with doughnuts and custard – or as the menu stated: ricotta doughnuts with summer berries and crema pasticcera.

To keep the juices flowing, you can order a bottle or two of wine or your own choice of drink or you can take the Wine Flight into cloud heaven – a selection of five wines specially selected to pair with each course.

Oh and, of course, as it is the Lakes by yoo, you will probably see a celebrity or two dining there. At this particular Supper Club event, Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) was there to help celebrate a very special wedding anniversary.
